Year 4 are finally out behind the Rainbow Fence

It’s been a lovely sunny but chilly couple of days outside introducing the children to our outside area and all the things they can experience out there.

We started with hazard spotting and how to manage hazards in order to stay safe. Then some of the children chose to use the palm drills and showed great resilience when drilling hazel wood cookies. This can be difficult for little hands.

Elsewhere they built forts, shelters and assault courses, climbed trees, rigged up new swings, dug holes, watered the flowers, cooked in the mud kitchen, discovered mini-beasts.

There was a lot of Teamwork going on in every group.

We finished up with a game of ultimate hide and seek… can you spot any of the children??
