To celebrate this year’s ‘International Day of Languages’ we have been very lucky to enjoy a Portuguese session. Mrs Kalinka, who is from Portugal, taught us some simple greetings, some songs and most importantly, how to ask for the toilet! Portuguese people actually ask for the ‘little room of bath’ when needing to visit the bathroom. We also learnt that a Portuguese lady was responsible for introducing tea to England.
