This week we have been celebrating National Poetry Day which was on Thursday, in year 1 we focused on the work of Brian Moses and his poem ‘I’m walking with an Iguana’. The children loved this poem and we all created a poem together in the style of his work. In Celandine class, we added music to accompany our poem and in Bluebell class they focused on their Autumn poem and created art in Autumn colours. Attached is a sound clip of Celandine’s poem.
