Sorry your children came home filthy this week! We were experimenting with natural paint using chalk and charcoal.

They also learnt to lay an ‘upside down’ fire and then to use a ‘Dragon’s Sneeze’ (flint and steel striker)

Some groups learnt how to keep dry and warm inside our Bothy. Best to learn this skill before the weather actually requires it!

Elsewhere the children climbed trees, put up swings, relaxed in hammocks, drilled, balanced and learnt all about foxes. Another splendid week outside.
